Provisional Licence Booking Process

Please follow these steps to book your Provisional Licence.

  • Go to TMR/Qld Transport website https://www.tmr.qld.gov.au  On the right hand side click on Book a Practical Test.
  • Enter licence details as requested and follow prompts. 
  • Select Wide Bay region. Follow dropdowns to Maryborough region.  
  • Select a date for a test that suits you. 
  • Enter your email and payment details to Qld Transport for Examiner fee on test day. ($64.95credit card payment only)
  • You will receive 2 emails. One is a receipt. The other is your Test Booking Reference number. Record this number.
  • Finalise booking.
  • Return to PDS Book a Lesson page
  • Book with PDS a Test lesson. Provide Test Booking Reference Number in comments. After you have booked with Qld Transport, Book a lesson with PDS 1 Hour prior.
    Example: If a QT Test is at 10.00am, book with PDS a lesson 1 hour before the test using the 9.00am to 11.00am Test Booking. This allows 1 hour lesson prior to test, includes hire of our car during test period and time for completing paperwork after.
