Anat McDonald
Hi, I'm Anat.
I have a passion for motorbikes, cars, trucks and just about anything with wheels and a motor. I am a proud member of the Australian Driver Trainers Association (Qld) and have been for more than twenty years.
I founded Prince Driving School in 2001 after gaining my Driver Trainer qualification. My very first student was my daughter, who passed her driving test on her first attempt. From there, I began teaching her classmates and Prince Driving School quickly grew into a well-respected driving school on the Gold Coast.
In 2003, my family and I moved to Maryborough, where I re-established Prince Driving School and have continued helping local learners achieve their driving goals. While I have three children of my own, it often feels like I have thousands because of the close relationships I form with my students. I genuinely love what I do, and seeing the smile on a student's face when they pass their driving test is still one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
Rory McDonald
Hi, I'm Rory.
I've been involved in motorsport for most of my life. I started riding motorcycles at the age of 8 and racing motocross as a teenager before moving into Grand Prix motorcycles and production racing. Over the years I've worked throughout the motorsport industry, travelled internationally and had the opportunity to work alongside some of Australia's most respected racing identities.
My passion for motorsport eventually led me back to racing, this time in Historic Touring Cars and Formula 2 open-wheel race cars. Today, I still enjoy competing and continue to have a strong interest in vehicle performance, control and road craft.
I believe good driver training is about much more than passing a driving test. My goal is to help learners develop confidence, awareness and safe driving habits that will stay with them for life, while making lessons enjoyable and tailored to each student's needs.
Shy Prince
G’day, I'm Shy.
My driving career began more than 18 years ago when I earned my B Double licence and worked driving specialised trucks in Queensland's mining industry. That experience gave me a strong understanding of road safety, vehicle operation and the importance of making good decisions behind the wheel.
My goal as a driving instructor is to help learners become safe, confident drivers by providing clear instruction, patient coaching and practical skills that will stay with them long after they receive their licence.
Coming from a family of driving instructors and growing up around all types of vehicles, becoming a driving instructor was a natural path for me. I have always had a passion for cars, trucks and anything with an engine, along with a love of the great outdoors and spending time with my family.
